PERNOD STRAWBERRIES 
2 pt. fresh strawberries
4 oz. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
1 c. orange juice
4 tsp. green pepper
2 tbsp. Pernod liquor
Pistachio ice cream

Wash strawberries and cut them in half. In a pan, melt the butter and add the strawberries. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the sugar and stir. Add orange juice and the green peppers. Lower the heat to medium. Stir and let it cook for 2 minutes. Add Pernod and stir. Take it off of fire.

In a serving cup, serve a scoop of pistachio ice cream and pour the strawberries (hot) with the sauce.
