KENT'S TURKEY BURGERS
1 lb. ground turkey
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 Spanish onion, finely chopped and sautéed
1 egg
3/4 cup bread crumbs (I use Italian style)
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 green onions, finely chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp. olive oil
4 hamburger buns, toasted

SAUCE:

1 tbsp. ketchup (Hunts)
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. mayonnaise

Heat small pan, put butter in and chopped onion and sauté onion until soft and translucent.

Add to mixing bowl: egg, turkey, bread crumbs, cheese, green onion, Worcestershire sauce, sautéed onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix with your hands for one or two minutes. Place bowl in refrigerator to allow all favors to blend (about 1 hour).

Remove bowl from refrigerator and make 4 patties from the mixture.

In a very hot pan, add olive oil. Place the patties in and sear both sides, reduce heat to medium, and cook until done (about 4 to 5 minutes on each side).

While patties are cooking, mix ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise until completely blended together and toast the buns.

When patties are cooked place on buns, add the sauce and serve. Enjoy!

Serves 4.
