HAMBURGER BUNS OR CLOVER LEAF
ROLLS
 
1 3/4 c. warm water
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/3 c. honey
3 tbsp. active dry yeast (3 pkgs.)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 c. whole wheat flour
3 c. white flour (add 1/3 c. more, if needed)

Mix water, oil, honey and yeast. Let stand 15 minutes. Stir in eggs and flour. Knead 7 minutes. If sticky, add extra flour until smooth. Roll out until 3/4- inch thick. Use round cutter, 3- to 4-inch cups. Place on oiled baking sheet. Let rise 10 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.
