"DOGGIE ON A STICK" 
2/3 c. enriched cornmeal
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. instant minced onion
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (1 lb.) pkg. hot dogs

Combine cornmeal, flour, salt, garlic powder, mustard and onion. Add egg, oil and milk. Coat each wiener with flour and insert tines of cooking forks or wooden skewer. Dip into cornmeal mixture, coating all sides. Fry a few at a time in hot, deep fat, 375 degrees until golden brown. Serve hot with chili.
