BREAD STICKS 
1 tbsp. dry yeast dissolved in 2/3 c. warm water
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. vegetable oil (Canola)
1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour 1 beaten egg white (or 1/2 c. milk as alternate)
Poppy seed, sesame seed, or coarse salt to garnish

Mix all but egg (milk), seeds or salt in bowl. Stir in flour to make stiff dough. Turn out and knead on floured surface. Place in greased bowl, let rise until doubled. Punch down, divide in 2 parts. Cut each part into 24 inch portions and roll each portion into long pencil-like sticks about 8 inches long.
