FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE 
Cake:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 (17 oz.) can fruit cocktail, undrained
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs

Mix all ingredients until well blended. Pour into a 9-1/2 x 13 pan, bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.

Sauce:

1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Bring all to boiling. Pour over cake as soon as you remove it from oven.
