CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 head cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork or veal
1 c. minute rice
1 egg
1 onion, chopped fine
Salt & pepper
Sm. can sauerkraut
Med. can tomato juice

Remove core from cabbage with sharp knife. Scald cabbage in boiling water. Remove leaves one by one as they wilt. Mix meat. Combine rice, egg, onion and seasoning with meat. Spread each cabbage leaf with about a tablespoon full of mixture and roll. Fasten with toothpick. Line baking dish with sauerkraut. Place layers of cabbage rolls in baking dish with sauerkraut between layers. Pour tomato juice over all. Bake at 350 degrees for about 2 hours. Add water if necessary.
