HERB BAKED SCALLOPS 
1-1/2 to 2 lb. scallops
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. parsley
1 1/2 tsp. basil

Place scallops in single layer in a large shallow baking dish. Pour melted butter over scallops. Sprinkle with parsley, basil and salt and pepper.

Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes. Stir to coat well with butter mixture.

Bake 20 minutes more or until tender.

Serves 6.

Note: I love buttered bread crumbs sprinkled on this.
