DISGUSTINGLY RICH POTATOES 
6 lg. baking potatoes
3/4 c. butter
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 c. heavy cream
4 tbsp. butter
About 1 lb. gruyere or Swiss cheese, shredded

Bake potatoes until soft; scoop pulp into bowl. Add the 3/4 cup butter, salt, pepper, and cream. Transfer to a flat baking dish. Dot with the 4 tablespoons butter and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

This is definitely disgustingly rich. I found a recipe very similar to this in the Parade magazine thirty or forty years ago. It is still my go to for a rich side dish.
