3 c. sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
2/3 c. water

Boil until hard ball forms in cold water. Beat 2 egg whites, 1/2 tsp. salt. Pour syrup into whites. Beat until you can drop by teaspoon and it will hold its shape. Drop on wax paper.
