LIKE DOROTHY LYNCH DRESSING
1 c. salad oil 1 can tomato soup 1/3 c. vinegar 3/4 c. sugar 1/8 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. celery seed Spin in blender. Refrigerate. Makes 1 1/2 pints.

I've been checking out the Dorothy Lynch recipes. Its fun because my grandmother used to make Dorothy Lynch dressing with Dorothy Lynch...at the Legion in St. Paul, NE. All of them are close...but not quite :-)

I was tired of paying so much for this salad dressing---the recipe is very close to the original. To make it lighter, I cut the oil to half a cup, doubled all ingredients except the sugar, then replaced the sugar with 1/2 cup Stevia. Outstanding!
