SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS 
2 lbs. pork chops, cut thick
2 unpeeled sliced lemons
1 lg. onion
1 bell pepper cut in rings
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. butter
2 c. tomato juice

Place pork chops in a large skillet. Cover top meat with lemon, onion and peppers. Pour tomato juice over all and dot with butter. Cover and cook on top of stove for 1 1/2 hours.
