ADELE'S HOT DOG CASSEROLE
All my family loves this and all my friends. My grandpa called this sheepherder potatoes. VERY YUMMY!

potatoes
onions
2 carrots
6 or 8 hot dogs, cut into pieces
water
8 to 10 American cheese slices (Kraft)

SEASONINGS:

seasoned salt
celery salt
garlic salt with parsley flakes
lemon pepper

Peel and slice potatoes, chop onions, peel and grate two carrots. Put in large fry pan and season to taste. I use seasoning salt, celery salt, garlic salt with parsley, and lemon pepper. I mix these all together, been doing it this way for 30 plus years. Fry until almost done. Add hot dogs, cut into pieces. I use six or eight. Add a little water (not too much, just for steam).

When hot dogs look puffed up put slices of cheese (about eight to ten) on top and let melt. Keep it on low heat for this process and with the lid on.

Note: This casserole is cooked in a fry pan, not in the oven.
