HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 
1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns
1/2 c. onion
2 c. sour cream
1/2 c. melted butter
2 cans cream of chicken
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
2 c. cracker crumbs or corn flake crumbs
Melted butter

Combine potatoes, onion, sour cream, 1/2 cup butter, soup, cheese, salt and pepper in bowl; mix well. Spoon into 9 x 13 pan. Top with cracker or corn flake crumbs; drizzle on butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
