SHREDDED SWEET CARROTS 
8 carrots
5 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar

Shred the carrots and add to the other ingredients in saucepan. Cover and cook 10 minutes. Do not drain. Serve while hot. Can add a little chopped parsley for more color.
