BLUE RIBBON MICROWAVE PEANUT BRITTLE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. corn syrup (white) 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. raw peanuts 1 tsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking soda Mix sugar, corn syrup, salt and peanuts in oven proof dish. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes. Blend and return to microwave for 3 minutes. Blend in butter and vanilla. Microwave on HIGH 60 seconds more. Add baking soda quickly, but gently. Stir until light and foamy. Spread on lightly greased cookie sheet. Cool. Break in pieces. Makes 1 pound. Submitted by: Jimmy |
