STUFFED SHELLS | |
1 lb. ground chuck 1 c. bread crumbs 1 tbsp. garlic 1 tbsp. basil 1 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded large pasta shells 1 egg, beaten 1 small onion, chopped 1 tbsp. oregano 1 tbsp. parsley flakes large jar of spaghetti sauce Brown ground chuck. Cool. Add egg. Add bread crumbs, onions, seasonings and Mozzarella cheese. Mix together. Cook large pasta shells. Stuff shells with ground chuck mixture. Put in 8 x 8 or 9 x 13 pan, depending on number of shells needed, after spreading a small amount of spaghetti sauce in bottom of pan. Cover shells with remaining sauce. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with additional Mozzarella cheese and bake 10 additional minutes. |
