FIVE-HOUR BEEF STEW | |
2 lbs. stew meat 1 tbsp. salt 4 potatoes, quartered 3 carrots 1 c. red cooking sherry 3 tbsp. tapioca 1 tsp. sugar 4 onions 3 stalks celery 1 (#2 1/2) can tomatoes, chopped up Vegetables should be cut into fairly large pieces. Put it all together in a crock pot at 275 degrees. Do not open for 5 hours. |
