M.'S FAMOUS BEEF STEW 
3 lbs. beef cubes
2 med. onions, chopped
2 tbsp. Spry
1 green pepper
5 celery sticks
3 bay leaves
7 carrots
6 med. potatoes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. maple syrup
2 cans whole tomatoes
3/4 c. red wine
Celery salt
Salt & pepper

Brown meat. Par boil carrots and potatoes, drain. Cook over low temperature at 200 degrees for 4 hours. Serve with French bread and garlic butter.
