HERB CREAM CHEESE SPREAD 
8 oz. fat-free or reduced-fat cream cheese
2 sprigs fresh parsley, snipped
1 medium clove garlic, mashed or 1/2 tsp. bottled minced garlic
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dried thyme, crumbled
1/4 tsp. dried chervil, crumbled

In a food processor or blender, process all ingredients for 10 seconds. Transfer to a glass bowl; cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.

Serves 8 (2 tablespoons per serving).

Cooks Tip on Chervil: An herb of the parsley family, chervil is available fresh and dried. It has a delicate anise-like taste that may be reduced when cooked. Chervil gives color and a lightly zesty touch to sauces for vegetables and when sprinkled on salads, soups, lamp, veal and pork.
