STRAWBERRY BREAD WITH CREAM
CHEESE SPREAD
 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 c. oil
4 eggs, well beaten

Reserve 1/2 cup juice.

Mix together flour, sugar, soda, cinnamon, and salt. Add strawberries, oil, and well-beaten eggs. Mix by hand. Bake in greased and floured pans (two 8x4 inch loaves) pans at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Can be frozen. Slice thinly before completely thawed.

CREAM CHEESE SPREAD:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. reserved strawberry juice

Mix to make a spreadable mixture. Spread on thin slices to make sandwiches. Refrigerate until served.
