FRESH PEAR CAKE 
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. chopped apples
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs and mix well. Mix flour, salt, soda, pecans, and baking powder together. Add flour mixture and apples a little at a time until mixed well. Add vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours or until done.
