HAZEL'S BLACKBERRY COBBLER 
3 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. blackberry Jello mix
1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 qt. berries

Boil cornstarch, Jello mix, water and sugar until clear. Pour over the berries; pour off some of the juice. Pour out in dish; add dots of butter and strips of pastry over top. Bake until brown at 425 degrees for 5-10 minutes, then at 350 degrees until done. (Press foil strips around edges.) You can use strawberries, cherries; get Jello to match.
