1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. sugar
Pinch salt
2 eggs
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Pastry for 1 (9 inch) pie shell

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Add salt; add dates and nuts.

Line muffin tins with pastry. Fill evenly with date mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until set (about 30 minutes).
