COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

CRUMBS:

2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
5 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. butter, melted & cooled

Blend butter with sugar, add eggs and beat well. Add all dry ingredients, milk and vanilla, scraping bowl frequently; mix for 2 minutes at medium speed. Spread into a greased 14 x 18 inch pan (or one 9 x 13 and one 8 x 8 inch pan).

To make crumbs, mix all dry ingredients together and stir well with a fork. Stir vanilla into melted and cooled butter and pour over dry ingredients. Stir with a fork until well mixed, then crumble by hand over batter in pan, distributing evenly. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and then sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
