PINEAPPLE DROP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. #2 can crushed pineapple, drained
2 eggs, well beaten
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly. Add pineapple and eggs; mix well. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Blend in nuts and vanilla. Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 8 dozen cookies.
