SOUR CREAM DROP COOKIES 
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream (commercial)
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening, gradually beat in sugar and eggs. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Gradually stir in dry ingredients. Chill several hours. Drop by teaspoon. Bake in hot oven 400 degrees until brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
