2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream

Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add egg and grated peel. Beat well. Mix in sour cream. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with bottom of glass dipped in a cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 7 dozen.
