1 c. shortening (half butter)
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. burnt sugar flavoring (optional)
4 c. flour

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add the sour cream and flavoring. Add dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. It put a half pecan on each cookie before baking.
