1 box Devil's food cake mix
1 stick butter
1 egg
8 oz. cream cheese
1 box sifted confectioners' sugar

Mix cake mix, butter and egg; press in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Mix cream cheese and sugar; pour over brownie mix. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
