CRANBERRY CONSERVE 
4 c. fresh cranberry
1 c. water
1 orange
3 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. peeled, diced apples
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Combine cranberries and water in large saucepan. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat, simmer 6 to 8 minutes or until cranberry skins pop. Grate orange rind; peel, seed and dice orange. Add to cranberries along with rind and remaining ingredients. Cook, stirring often 30 minutes or until it thickens. Remove from heat and cool. Place in jars. Serve with ham, chicken or turkey. Refrigerate.
