SHRIMP & CRAB CREOLE | |
1 stalk celery, chopped 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped 1/4 c. olive oil 2 (18 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes 1 crumpled bay leaf 1 clove garlic, minced 1 c. chili sauce 1 tsp. curry powder 1 tsp. thyme 1/2 c. parsley, chopped 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1 lb. cooked shrimp 1 lb. crab, flaked Saute celery, onion, green pepper and mushrooms in olive oil. Add tomatoes, bay leaf, garlic, chili sauce, curry powder, thyme, parsley and Tabasco sauce. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Add shrimp and crab. Simmer 5 minutes. Serve over rice. |
