HEAVENLY HASH CAKE | |
4 eggs, slightly beaten 2 sticks butter 4 tbsp. cocoa 2 c. nuts, chopped (optional) 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour 2 tsp. vanilla 1 lg. bag miniature marshmallows Mash soft butter and sugar together until smooth. Add eggs and continue whipping, add flour, nuts and vanilla. Spread into a 13 x 9 inch pan which has been lined with wax paper. Bake in 325 degree oven about 15 to 20 minutes. Prepare 13 x 9 inch cutting board with wax paper and spread with sugar. When cake has baked dump onto cutting board, remove wax paper on cake. Spread large bag of miniature marshmallows over cake and allow to cool. TOPPING: 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 stick butter 1 box confectioners sugar 8 tbsp. Pet milk Put ingredients into pot all together. Mix over low heat until bubbly and thoroughly mixed. Using large cooking spoon pour icing over marshmallow and cake until it is covered. Cut into squares after completely cooled. Can be cut into about 50 to 60 pieces. |
