APPLESAUCE CAKE #1 
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 c. flour
2 c. or 1 can applesauce
2 tsp. baking soda

Beat well in applesauce 1 box raisins and 2 cups nuts. Add cinnamon and nutmeg to suit taste. Canned fruit may be added also. Save about 2 tablespoons of flour to flour fruit and nuts. This will keep them from sinking to the bottom of cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.
