“CANNELLONI” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  CAPPUCCINO IN A JAR

CANNELLONI 
12 manicotti pasta shells
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. sausage
3 tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. onion powder
8 tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped onion
6 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 cups tomato sauce

Cook manicotti pasta shells using package directions - for 12 minutes. Drain. Cool.

Brown ground beef and sausage in skillet until crumbly. Add butter - remove from heat. Add next 3 ingredients with 5 tbsp of the Parmesan cheese and enough bread crumbs to absorb moisture.

Stuff meat mixture into shells: Place in baking dish. Combine last 6 ingredients with 2 cups water in saucepan. Simmer for 30 minutes. Pour sauce over the stuffed shells. Top with the remaining 3 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
