2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
4 egg whites

Sift all dry ingredients; add Crisco and milk. Beat 2 minutes, add egg whites and beat 2 more minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
