QUICK CRAB PATTIES ON SHELLS 
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. minced parsley
2 tbsp. grated onion
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 lb. crab meat
1/4 c. mayonnaise

Combine bread crumbs, salt, pepper, green pepper, parsley, onion and melted butter. Add egg, crab meat and mayonnaise. Heap into 6 crab shells. Brush top with melted butter. Place on broiler rack so top of crab patties are 4-5 inches from broiler unit. Broil 7-8 minutes or until browned. (If using butter, omit salt).
