GRANDMA'S BAKED CHICKEN 
1 chicken
2 garlic cloves or dried minced garlic
1 med. onion (chopped not too fine)
1 med. green pepper (chopped not too fine)
Salt and pepper to taste

Place chicken in baking dish with lid. Salt and pepper chicken. Place onions, garlic and pepper around chicken. Put lid or pan. Bake at 425 degrees for an hour or hour and a half. Then remove lid and bake until chicken gets a little brown. Remove chicken from pan. Thicken gravy with a little flour and water. Serve gravy over rice or mashed potatoes.
