COOKIES AND CREAM ICE CREAM 
6 eggs
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 3/4 c. sugar
6 c. cream or half and half
3 tbsp. vanilla
3/8 tsp. salt
Milk
Oreo cookies

Beat eggs until foamy. Add cream cheese; mix well. Slowly add sugar. Beat until thickened. Add cream vanilla and salt; mix well. Pour into ice cream freezer can. Add milk to full line. Freeze according to manufacturers directions.

In the meantime, break up the Oreo cookies into small pieces. If the pieces are too big they will catch on the paddle and keep stopping.

Break up as many cookies as desired. About 3/4 of a bag will be good. Right before the ice cream is frozen, stop the machine. Mix the cookie pieces into the ice cream using a long handled spoon. Restart the machine and freeze until firm. Makes 6 quarts.
