SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. cinnamon

Make topping in a small bowl; mix until it is well blended. Set aside.

Cream butter until soft; add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift the dry ingredients together. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the sour cream. Stir in vanilla. Pour half the batter into a well buttered 9"x13" pan or a tube pan. Cover with half of the topping mix. Repeat. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
