CRANBERRY UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix
4-5 c. raw cranberries (1 bag)
2 1/2 c. white sugar (can cut in half)
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. walnut halves or pieces

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and bottom of 9"x13" pan or large round one. Sprinkle walnuts over butter. Wash and dry cranberries, pour them over nuts. Add white sugar and brown sugar, spreading evenly over cranberries. Mix slightly.

Follow directions on cake box and pour mixture over everything. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes.

Let cool 10 minutes, loosen cake from edge and turn upside down on plate. Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
