1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream together first 4 ingredients. Sift together the dry ingredients and mix into first mixture. Add vanilla. Make small balls and press down with a fork dipped into water. Bake at 350 degrees. Makes 42-45 cookies.
