RUSSIAN NUT ROLL 
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 cake yeast (crumbled)
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 lb. butter

NUT FILLING:

1 lb. ground nuts
1 lg. egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter

Mix dough ingredients well (like a pie crust) until bowl is clean. Roll on board with sugar. Roll and spread nut filling onto dough. Fold side up over nut filling and slit top crosswise 4 to 5 times (slit slightly). Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
