CABBAGE SOUP 
3 lbs. chopped beef
1 c. chopped celery
2 cans kidney beans
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cans tomatoes
1 sm. hard cabbage, quartered

Boil chopped beef until tender. Add onions and celery. Boil for 10 minutes. Cool 1 hour. Add tomatoes and kidney beans. Cook 30 minutes more. Add cabbage and cook until cabbage is tender (about 20 minutes). Makes 8 servings.
