JERICALLA (CUSTARD) MEXICAN RECIPE | |
3 c. milk 1 c. sugar 1 sm. cinnamon stick Bring milk, sugar and cinnamon to a boil, then let cool. 2 eggs 3 egg yolks Beat eggs together with egg yolks. Add one cup of the milk mixture. Mix thoroughly, then add the remaining milk. Strain. 1 tbsp. butter Grease a baking dish with butter, and fill it with the mixture. Place dish in a pan of water, and bake in a moderate oven (about 350 degrees) until the custard sets and the top is golden brown. Cool and serve. NOTE: This custard can also be prepared in individual Pyrex dishes. |
