PEANUT BUTTER CUSTARD PIE 
1 baked pie crust
1/4 c. unsalted nuts
3 lg. egg yolks
3 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. whipping cream
2 tbsp. confectioners' sugar

Chop nuts (reserve for garnish). In saucepan mix egg yolks, milk, sugar, cornstarch, salt and butter. Cook over medium low heat until thick. Remove. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Beat well. Place mixture in pie shell. Cool.

Beat whipping cream and confectioners' sugar until peaks form. Place on top custard pie. Garnish with nuts.
