BOSTON BAKED BEANS 
1 pt. beans, navy beans
1 stick butter
1 lg. onion, cut up
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. molasses
2 or 3 lbs. chuck, brisket or flank (larger piece of beef
if desired)

Soak beans overnight in water (or just a few hours). Mix all ingredients and stir. Cook about 20 minutes. Cover with water (then) cook in an electric cooker about 10 hours or overnight. Dial set on 300 then on low. Be sure that it is covered before cooking overnight.
