2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. sour cream or 1 c. sour milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. flour, add until stiff enough to roll (may need more)

Mix sugar, shortening until creamed. Add sour cream, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, mix until well blended. Can use for drop cookies or cut outs. Chill dough if using for cut outs at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
