CABBAGE ROLLS WITH BEEF 
8 lg. cabbage leaves
1 med. size onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. cooked rice
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. can tomatoes
3 tbsp. brown sugar

Pour enough boiling water over cabbage leaves to cover, let stand 10 minutes, thoroughly mix cooked rice, onion, salt, pepper, ground beef and egg. Drain cabbage leaves, spoon mound of rice mixture into center of each leaf and tuck n sides of leaves and fold ends securely. Place stuffed cabbage leaves, seam side down in casserole. Add tomatoes. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover, add lemon juice and brown sugar; cook uncovered, 1/2 hour longer.
