TOLL HOUSE PAN COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
12 oz. (2 c.) semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

In small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In large bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in the eggs; gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in morsels and nuts. Spread in greased 15"x10"x1" baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool, until nearly cold. Cut into 2" squares, 35 squares. Squares can be cut in half to make 1" bars.
